For questions concerning prepositions, such as *ab, coram, cum, dē, ex, in,* &c.

In most languages, prepositions will govern which case is used, such as in English ‘by whom’, ‘to him’, ‘from her’; erroneous here would be ‘by who’, ‘to he’, ‘from she’. As such, prepositions strongly influence how a sentence is constructed. This tag is used for any and all questions where the how and why of prepositions is concerned, for example ‘Which preposition should be used in this sentence?’, ‘When does in govern accusative and when ablative?’, ‘Why is used in this title?’ or ‘How should we translate ab and ?’ If the prepositions themselves are key to the question, then select this tag.
